Dr. Whitaker has been in the education field for over 40 years, eleven of them at PJPII. She holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Education (Major Physical Education); Masters in Administration and Supervision; Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
What does she love about working at PJPII ? Dr. Whitaker says this "Working with people that have the same vision and passion that you do --- to provide a Catholic education where faith permeates every subject matter. Our staff is devoted to academic excellence with the understanding that every child is a unique gift from God. It is wonderful working for an institution that has a supportive School Pastor who really likes getting involved with the students. Our parents put faith formation and academics as a top priority. Together everyone (students, parents, administration, teachers, parishioners) work together to provide the best Catholic education possible. We are so grateful to such organizations as the Knights of Columbus who continue to support us both financially and spiritually. It truly “Takes an Entire Village to Educate a Child.”
