The mission of Pope John Paul II School is to “empower students to meet their highest spiritual, intellectual, social and physical potential in a Christ centered Catholic educational environment. In keeping with this mission Seventh and Eighth grade students are eligible for consideration for membership to the National Junior Honor Society. This is a national organization that promotes appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship and service. The National Junior Honor Society is a part of the same organization as the National Honor Society that many of the high schools recognize.
N.J.H.S. members work on various school, church and community projects throughout the year as well fundraisers for different causes. The new candidates each year have an induction ceremony in the Spring followed by a reception for them and their families.
