Mrs. Clark has been at PJPII for eleven years. She has an Early Childhood degree and lots of experience with children from raising five boys.
She says "I enjoy working in a Christian/Catholic environment, especially teaching young children the beginnings of their faith and values they will use in their lifetime."

Mrs. Trodden has been in the field of education for over 40 years, 13 of them teaching at PJPII. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood.
She says "Teaching at PJPII is a blessing! It is wonderful to be able to introduce Christian values to my students which they will use throughout their life. Children learn beside their family they are part of a school family and church family as we worship and pray together daily."

Mrs. Cramer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She has been in education for 12 years, the last 11 of which have been at PJPII.

Mrs. Arnold has been in education for 19 years, ten of them at PJPII. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is certified in Elementary Education with endorsements in LA and ESE education.
What she loves about teaching at PJPII is "The parents are very supportive at PJPII. The environment is that of a small community which supports its members and its membership looks to the greater community to offer them service as well. The administrative support for staff and personnel aids the teachers in being effective in what they do."

This is Mrs. Farmer's eighth year in education and at PJPII. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
She loves working at PJPII because "I feel like I belong to a family, both with the faculty and the students and their families. Everyone works together for the benefit of the students and the school."

Mrs. Camisa has been in education for over 20 years and at PJPII for 20 years. She has a degree in Elementary Education/Varying Exceptionalities.
She says "The thing I most enjoy about teaching at PJPII is the environment here at the school. I believe we strive to make it Christ-centered and family oriented. This creates a close knit community among all of us, principal, teachers, students, and staff. I appreciate the caring and cooperation that we share. Add to this the freedom to bring the gospel message into any lesson and subject, and it adds up to a winning combination. One that I know I’m blessed to be a part."

This is Mrs. Bourquin's second year at PJPII. Mrs. Bourquin previously taught third and fourth grade in the Diocese of Orlando before moving to Greenville, SC. Now back in Florida, she teaches the fifth grade.
Mrs. Bourquin has always enjoyed teaching and coaching children of all ages. She says, "What is so unique and special about PJPII is the forward thinking, brain based, and technology rich focus. I am so thankful to be teaching in a Catholic environment, where not only am I able to teach children academically, but enrich them with the faith and values that will sustain them throughout their lives. The students and families have been very welcoming and the teaching staff is so professional and gracious."

Mrs. D'Alessandro has a degree in Elementary Education/Middle School Mathematics Grades 6-9. She has over 30 years in education, 10 of them at PJPII.
What she loves about teaching at PJPII is: "PJPII is exactly the same type of atmosphere I chose when raising my own family and looking for the best education for them. The Christ-centered atmosphere lends to a rewarding experience. Our faith is in every part of our curriculum and at the fore front every day. The administration and staff make Pope John Paul II Catholic School so much more than a building. The families and students complete this caring community where we can live our faith every day."

Mr. George McGeoch

Mr. McGeoch holds a Bachelors in Social Science Education. He has worked in education for seven years, all of them at PJPII.
He says the following about his experience at PJPII: "I love that I can include a Christian world view in my teaching, that I don’t have to leave God out of history, that I don’t have to be Politically Correct. I love the autonomy I have to teach with, that I am not prevented from challenging my students, and I love the support we receive from Dr. Whitaker. I love the parents who go out of their way to let us know they appreciate us and the parents who go above and beyond to enhance the school experiences of all the students. I also love my students (most of them anyway)."

Mrs. Sue Burrell

Mrs. Burrell has been teaching for 19 years, substitute teaching for 18 years, and at PJPII for 17 years. She is certified to teach English, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English for Grades 6-12.
Her thoughts about teaching at PJPII "After many years of substitute teaching in the public school system where the mention of God is taboo and values are a contested area, teaching at PJPII is an indescribable blessing! We pray and worship as a community, I can share the Catholic Faith with my students, and endeavor to inculcate Christian values to my charges. I love each day!"

This is Mrs. Runk's fourth year at PJPII; she has eight years in education with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/Minor in Women's Studies and Maryland certified in grades K-6.
Mrs. Runk writes "There are many things I love, the children, the staff, the opportunities provided, but most of all I love the school so much I want my own children to attend and become a part of the PJPII family."

Mrs. Kievit has 14 years experience in education, 12 of them at PJPII. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts.
She says she loves the following about teaching at PJPII: "Creating the Art Program here and having a real Art Room for classes; a full range of materials and equipment; seeing the development of students over the years from EC3 through eighth-grade."
Coach Drew Lepinskie

Coach Lepinskie joined the staff of PJPII last school year as PE coach and Athletic Director. Coach Lepinskie and his family are very familiar with PJPII. He is an alumni of the school, as was his late brother, for whom the annual Zeke Lepinsie Golf Tournament is named. In addition, his mother, Rita, worked at PJPII for many years. Coach attended Embry Riddle Aeronautics University, studying Aerospace Engineering. However, his interest in sports and previous coaching and teaching experience led him to pursue a career as a PE teacher.
"I have always been interested in being a teacher and making a difference in youngsters' lives. By combining this interest and my sports aptitude I hope to achieve this as I .. Go make a difference in the world (of PJPII students)!" states Coach.

Mrs. Stasio has been in education for over 16 years and at PJPII for 16 years.
She says "I love to teach Spanish, the students' excitement and eagerness to learn is very rewarding. I'm blessed to be a part of PJPII because of the Christian and family environment."
Mrs. Beth Bedee

Mrs. Bedee has been teaching for over 10 years. She holds a B.A. in History, with a minor in Humanities, and a M.S. in Social Science Education, both from Florida State University. Her early teaching career was spent teaching Social Studies in the Diocese of Orlando. Most recently, she has been a high school Drama and Musical Theatre instructor in the Citrus County school system. Mrs. Bedee has directed and choreographed numerous plays and musicals and coordinated a youth stage summer program at a Florida repertory theatre. She has a performance background in all three performing arts disciplines: acting, music, and dance.
She says, “I’m excited to cultivate the talent that I know the students at PJPII possess. I also look forward to working with students who put for the same amount of effort as I do and are eager to perform well.”

Mr. Frenier has been at PJPII for four years. He holds an AA degree in music performance and has over 10 years of playing experience.

Mrs. Parrow has been involved in the field of science for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology. For 15 years she was an ophthalmic first surgical assistant for retina, glaucoma, as well as, cataract surgeries. During her two years as Middle School Science Teacher at Pope John Paul II School, the school took the title of placing first in the county at the Science and Engineering Fair. Additionally, 8 out 10 students selected for State Science Fair were from PJPII School who went on to win various awards at that level. She also taught 6th grade religion for two years. Her passion for science began in second grade and she hopes to develop that same curiosity in the field while working with students in K-8.
